About the role#
This is a 12-month internship within the Oncology Medical Affairs team, specifically focusing on GU/GYN. You will work alongside Medical Advisors to support strategic objectives with regional and national impact. This role offers exposure to real-world pharmaceutical strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the project management and execution of medical affairs tactics, such as advisory boards, congress support, and pre-launch planning.
- Develop communication tools and content to support team strategy.
- Conduct literature searches and create scientific summaries to inform ongoing projects.
- Coordinate team meetings and participate in cross-functional collaborations.
- Summarize team insights to help shape medical and cross-functional strategy.
- Provide support for general medical affairs field and head office projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program, with graduation expected after the internship ends.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Health Sciences (advanced degrees are preferred).
- Demonstrated interest in medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and effective time management skills.
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Understanding of clinical trials, clinical development programs, and real-world or Phase IV studies.
- Experience with project management and AI tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and demonstrated leadership ability.
