About the role#
This internship supports the Health Systems team in advancing initiatives related to health policy, patient engagement, and system improvement. You will gain exposure to how pharmaceutical organizations work with healthcare providers, policymakers, and patient organizations to improve care. This role is a 4-month contract.
What you'll do#
- Research Canadian health policy, healthcare trends, and emerging system priorities.
- Monitor and summarize government announcements, funding decisions, and policy developments.
- Support environmental scans and stakeholder mapping to identify gaps and partnership opportunities.
- Assist in creating presentations, briefing notes, and reports.
- Gather patient perspectives and review best practices to support engagement activities.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including research on environmentally responsible healthcare delivery.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and impact metrics.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key decisions.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Medical, Government Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s degree program in Public Health, Health Sciences, Public Policy, or Commerce with a healthcare focus.
- An expected graduation date after April 2027.

- This position is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days of in-office work per week.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
