About the role#
As a Public Affairs Early Talent Intern, you will spend 12 months gaining hands-on experience in the Patient Access and Public Affairs department. You will contribute to advocacy campaigns, healthcare policy research, and stakeholder engagement. This role offers the chance to work alongside teams in government affairs, market access, communications, and medical functions to help connect people to the care they need.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of public affairs strategies that advance patient needs.
- Conduct research and environmental scanning on healthcare access, life sciences innovation, and sustainability.
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, meeting logistics, and track deliverables.
- Prepare briefing notes, key messages, policy briefs, and stakeholder summaries.
- Support engagement with patient organizations, community partners, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Maintain planning tools and project records to support team consistency.
What you'll need#
- A recent college certificate, undergraduate, or graduate degree in public policy, political management, health policy, communications, political science, public administration, business, sustainability, or life sciences.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to synthesize information.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to conduct research.
- Solid organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and digital collaboration tools.

- Compensation: Paid internship with an annual base salary range of $56,850.00 to $85,280.00.
