About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of satellite technology. You will work on hardware that is intended for flight, participating in the design, testing, and integration phases of our software defined radio systems. This is a full-time, paid position for students currently enrolled in a four-year university program.
What you'll do#
- Design, simulate, implement, and test internally developed software defined radio hardware.
- Perform hardware bringup and debugging in the lab using professional-grade equipment.
- Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing procedures for satellite hardware.
- Integrate radio systems directly into our spacecraft.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- A demonstrated history of designing, building, and testing PCBA hardware from scratch through personal projects, design competitions, or student teams.
- A solid foundation in at least one of the following areas: analog design, digital design, mixed signal design, or RF design.
- Passion for hands-on hardware development.

- Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: This role requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
