    About the role#

    This internship is a 12-week, full-time position for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program. You will join the team in San Francisco to work on hardware destined for space. We provide interns with the opportunity to take on meaningful projects and contribute directly to our satellite systems.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, simulate, implement, and measure passive and active RF sub-systems at microwave frequencies. This includes work on LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, and oscillators.
    • Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the engineering team.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or a related technical field.
    • Deep knowledge of RF concepts such as transmission lines, impedance matching, filter design, and active RF circuits.
    • Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing RF hardware for microwave frequencies.
    • Experience with RF simulation tools like ADS or HFSS.
    • Proficiency in taking RF measurements using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
    • A strong interest in hardware development and hands-on design.

    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
    • Eligibility: This position requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with export regulations.
