About the role#
Astranis is looking for a Power Electronics Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in San Francisco. You will join the power engineering team to work on flight hardware and contribute to our satellite development projects.
What you'll do#
- Build and test flight hardware with the power engineering team.
- Design prototype circuits and test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
- Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
- Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing for satellite hardware.
- Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Interest in designing and working with power electronics systems.
- A demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- US Citizenship or Green Card status is required to comply with export regulations.
