About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to product management within a global medical device company. You will join the Shoulder Arthroplasty team in Naples, Florida, to support the development of new orthopedic products. The role runs from May 2027 through August 2027 and requires a 40-hour work week on-site.
What you'll do#
- Define product roadmaps and facilitate design validations.
- Conduct market research on current and future product lines, including data analysis from the IMS Hospital Supply Index Database.
- Communicate with surgeons and the sales team to gather user needs, conduct surveys, and share information on upcoming product launches.
- Produce marketing collateral and build presentations to communicate research findings.
- Coordinate product development labs and manage product demos.
- Work with cadaveric specimens to support the research and implementation of prototype surgical devices.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a college degree in a related field, preferably in a STEM discipline.
- Current standing as a college junior or above, or a recent graduate within six months of your graduation date.
- Ability to work with and around cadaveric specimens.
- Intermediate to expert computer skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
