About the role#
This full-time Product Management internship offers hands-on experience within the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will work alongside the Product Division team to gain exposure to product development, marketing, global sourcing, sales, and operations. This is a 10-week summer program designed to provide insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of product management.
What you'll do#
- Develop and launch new product lines or improve existing ones.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and packaging designs.
- Research the market and perform analyses to identify new business growth opportunities.
- Create and deliver presentations for sales teams and customers.
- Negotiate with vendors to meet business goals while maintaining professional relationships.
- Coordinate with Inventory Management to maintain proper stock levels and service goals.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to present to both large and small groups.
- Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- A 3.0 minimum GPA is preferred.
- Previous internship experience in product management, development, marketing, or business is preferred.
- An active interest in the healthcare industry is preferred.
