About the role#
Arcadis is hiring a Project Assistant Co-op Student for the Winter 2027 term in Toronto. This role supports civil infrastructure and utility coordination projects. You will work alongside project managers and engineers to assist with project planning, data analysis, and documentation.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare and update engineering drawings, site plans, and utility layouts.
- Create and modify grading plans, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and detail drawings.
- Compile and update utility information from design teams, consultants, and utility providers.
- Document and track coordination efforts with utility companies and municipal partners.
- Provide logistical support for project meetings, workshops, and field activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program for Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
