About the role#
Arc is building electric vessels to modernize the marine industry. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will join our team to support core operations as we scale production. You will work on-site at our headquarters in Torrance, California, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support supply chain operations including planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
- Analyze data to improve forecasting, bill of material management, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
- Work with engineering, production, and finance teams to streamline part readiness and material flow.
- Help implement best practices in sourcing, logistics, and supplier relationship management.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
- Ability to own projects from beginning to end with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Exposure to manufacturing methods for engineering parts.
- Proficiency with SQL, spreadsheets, email, and resource planning software.
- Familiarity with high performance electric vehicles, solar cars, or Formula SAE is a plus.
- First-hand experience operating boats and an enthusiasm for clean energy.
- Ability to work in an intense startup environment and maintain a fast but sustainable pace.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Torrance, CA.
- The term runs from June 14, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
