About the role#
Aramark is hiring a Student Worker to join our food service and catering team at Mississippi State University. This is a paid position for students interested in gaining experience in the hospitality industry. You will work on-site at our campus facilities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and safety guidelines.
- Set up and maintain workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Properly store food items and keep inventory stocked.
- Clean and sanitize work areas to meet safety standards.
- Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor with guests and coworkers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student, with a preference for those studying Marketing.
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
