About the role#
This is a paid student marketing position at Samford University. You will serve as the primary link between Aramark and the student body. This role provides practical marketing experience through peer-to-peer outreach, event coordination, and content creation. It is open to students across various majors.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Aramark and the student body to coordinate marketing schedules and conduct student surveys.
- Identify missed on-campus market opportunities by sharing student trends and needs with the management team.
- Create text, layouts, and designs for promotional materials like brochures, flyers, and signage.
- Interact with guests during marketing events, including meal plan sign-ups and residential theme dinners.
- Update the campus dining website with current information on menus and hours of operation.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors for print and design projects.
- Distribute and maintain marketing materials throughout dining locations.
What you'll need#
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment if required.
