About the role#
This role is for a Student Worker in Food Service or Catering. You will help prepare food, follow safety guidelines, and gain experience in customer service. This is a paid position open to students from various majors including Nutrition, Civil Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, and Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes and directions.
- Store food items properly to meet safety standards.
- Set up workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Break down, clean, and sanitize workstations after use.
- Serve food to customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Secure company assets.
What you'll need#
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- You must have or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment when required.

- Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Rolling term, full-time.
