About the role#
This position is for students interested in food service or catering operations on campus. You will assist with food preparation, maintain service stations, and serve guests. This role provides an opportunity to develop customer service skills while working in a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Store food products according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and replenish stock levels.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide excellent service to guests and co-workers.
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment as required.
- Majors in Business Administration, Nutrition, or Civil Engineering are welcome to apply.
