About the role#
This is a student worker position based at Huntingdon College. You will assist with food service and catering operations on campus. This role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking. You may be required to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and anticipate their needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep food items stocked and replenished at appropriate levels.
- Store food according to established standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Maintain the security of company assets.
- Provide positive customer service to guests and coworkers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must have or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
