About the role#
This is a student worker position based at East Stroudsburg University. You will assist with food preparation and catering operations on campus. The role is open to students from various backgrounds, including Nutrition, Business Administration, and Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food according to established safety and sanitation standards.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and anticipate their needs.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Follow company safety policies and ensure the security of assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must have or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or Personal Protective Equipment as required.
