About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position based at Tennessee State University in Nashville. This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Chemistry, Nutrition, or Health Administration.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Replenish food items and keep products stocked.
- Store food according to safety standards.
- Follow company safety policies and maintain the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment as required.
