About the role#
This student position offers an opportunity to gain experience within campus operations. You will work with teams to handle food preparation and service while developing customer service and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes and directions.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers, replenish stock, and ensure product levels are maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor with guests and coworkers.
- Adhere to safety policies, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Business Administration, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, or Logistics programs.
- Ability to obtain or possess a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or Personal Protective Equipment as required.
