About the role#
This position is for a student worker at the Chick-fil-A location on the Coastal Carolina University campus. You will work on-site in food service or catering. This is a paid, full-time role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food correctly to meet safety standards.
- Set up, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Keep food items stocked and replenished.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies.
What you'll need#
- We prefer candidates with previous food service experience.
- You must have or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- You should demonstrate strong guest service skills.
- The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- You may be required to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment.
- This role is open to students in majors such as Business Administration, Nutrition, and Kinesiology.
