About the role#
This catering student worker position is based at Middle Tennessee State University for the Fall 2026 term. You will support campus food service operations by preparing items, serving guests, and maintaining safety standards.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and replenish items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Store food correctly according to established standards.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies.
- Protect company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must have or acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or personal protective equipment as required.
