About the role#
This internship supports the Disputes & Economics practice at Ankura, specifically the Intellectual Property team. You will assist with workstreams required for financial, accounting, and economic models and expert reports. The team values intangible assets like patents, trademarks, and copyrights to support client decision-making in disputes and transactions.
What you'll do#
- Research business models, technologies, and competitive environments using public sources.
- Review confidential production documents.
- Develop and perform financial, accounting, and economic models.
- Assist in preparing expert reports and exhibits.
- Perform data entry and maintain documentation for analyses.
- Conduct quality control procedures for models and reports.
- Help articulate findings and proposals to team members and clients.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Your expected graduation date is between December 2027 and August 2028.
- You hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You possess strong data analysis skills and a collaborative mindset.
- You can multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Access, SQL, or Visio is a plus.
- You must have permanent authorization to work in the United States, as this role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
