About the role#
AMETEK is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a position based in Athens, Ohio. This is a paid, on-site role that offers the potential for a multiple semester commitment.
What you'll do#
You will support our engineering team by testing products and analyzing performance data. Your daily work includes tracking and revising process documents, as well as managing spare parts inventories to keep our production equipment running smoothly. You will also handle fabrication and fixturing tasks using hand tools and our laser engraver.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students currently in their junior year or higher, or those pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and have a demonstrated ability to use AI tools for work tasks. This role requires the physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally.

This role is located in Athens, Ohio. It is a full-time position on a rolling basis. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
