About the role#
This is a paid, part-time Pharmacy Intern position. You will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist or facility manager. This role is compliance-critical, meaning you are responsible for ensuring that all division, corporate, and regulatory requirements are met at all times.
What you'll do#
- Collect clinical information and prescription plan coverage for new patients.
- Review new prescriptions for accuracy.
- Maintain constant compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communicate clearly with team members and patients through writing and speech.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
- Basic understanding of pharmacology, medication management, and pharmacy law.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Capability to maintain professional standards in a clinical environment.
