About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience within our distribution centers during a 10-week summer program. You will work alongside a mentor to lead teams, explore different business functions, and apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges. This full-time, paid internship is designed to develop future supply chain leaders. At the end of the program, you will present your accomplishments and findings to the leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Gain an understanding of supply chain functions and business operations.
- Assist in developing and analyzing supply chain metrics and processes.
- Manage daily and weekly department workloads to support business goals.
- Organize and lead team meetings such as pre-shift briefings and roundtables.
- Build relationships with hourly team members, peers, and senior leadership.
- Participate in training, developmental events, and internship activities.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and secure work culture.
- Rotate through various departments to learn core business areas.
- Report findings to management as required.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership, or Business Management.
- Graduation with a bachelor's degree within one year of internship completion.
- Proven leadership experience in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- A self-motivated, flexible, and accountable approach to handling multiple tasks.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States.

- Location: Amityville, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: This is an on-site role.
- Schedule: Flexibility is required to support 24/7 operations, including potential early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
