About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within the Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team. You will apply your academic knowledge to real business initiatives and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development of Enterprise Java web applications.
- Maintain and improve Java applications used by Distribution Center associates.
- Optimize application performance.
- Configure and manage relational database connectivity.
- Write JUNIT test cases and maintain technical documentation.
- Modify document layouts using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.
- Enhance Java applications that support the EOM team in monitoring and managing transactions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Java preferred), databases, application development, SDLC, and client-server architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, volunteer, or work experiences.
