About the role#
As a Data Analytics Intern with the InSite Data Solutions Team, you will contribute to the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform modernization initiative. This role supports the redesign of current products and the development of iterative enhancement features for both internal and customer-facing tools. You will assist in moving the platform toward a scalable, self-service delivery framework and help advance our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to generate insights.
- Design and build dashboards for internal and customer-facing products using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions.
- Document your processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience with Salesforce, SQL, and business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Interest in dashboard and product design principles is a plus.
- Prior internship experience or relevant coursework is beneficial.
