About the role#
The Finance Data Science and Analytics team uses machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical techniques to guide decisions on growth, risk, and profitability. As an intern, you will work at the intersection of Finance, Business, Risk, and Technology to build predictive models and analytical frameworks. You will translate business questions into technical approaches and communicate findings to support senior management.
What you'll do#
- Query, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and related tools.
- Build, test, and refine predictive models using techniques like regression, classification, clustering, and decision trees.
- Evaluate model performance and document your modeling choices, assumptions, and limitations.
- Translate Finance and business objectives into technical requirements and analytical plans.
- Create a final presentation that communicates your project's purpose, findings, and business impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time graduate degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 3 years of prior full-time work experience.
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis, or optimization through coursework, research, or previous internships.
- Ability to use programming and quantitative methods to solve complex problems.
