About the role#
This 10-week Summer Internship Program offers graduate students the opportunity to contribute to the protection of information systems, customer data, and digital assets. You will work within the Enterprise Technology Services organization, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, secure architecture, and threat detection. Throughout the program, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how security controls and development practices are implemented and maintained.
What you'll do#
- Monitor security systems and events using logs and alerts to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security or operational issues to determine root causes and mitigation strategies.
- Assist with security documentation, assessment findings, and remediation tracking to improve security posture.
- Collaborate with software development and product teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and AI-enabled security risks.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Foundational knowledge in areas such as cybersecurity, application security, network security, cloud security, or technology risk.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Interest in scripting or automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to work on-site in the specified location.
