About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week internship based in our St. Paul, MN office. You will work on data governance methodologies and frameworks while developing practical data management skills. You will collaborate with teams including data engineering, data intelligence, information security, and business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with data analysis and data quality tasks.
- Review, assess, and report findings on data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Partner with data stewards to capture definitions and build business glossaries.
- Research and document best practices for tracking data issues.
- Support data strategy, privacy, and security initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status as a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Data Science or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis using Excel, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with data intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with database or cloud technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or Oracle.
