About the role#
Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist Intern to join the CIH Marketing team for the Summer 2027 program. This role focuses on trade marketing, event coordination, and retailer support. You will work remotely, though business needs may require travel to Ripon, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Assist leadership with trade show and event coordination, including logistics and follow-up activities.
- Help manage and report on credit card expenses related to marketing events.
- Facilitate the monthly retailer newsletter by gathering content and supporting distribution.
- Respond to basic marketing requests from Sales, retailers, and distributors.
- Maintain inventories for both physical and digital marketing assets.
- Track monthly marketing expenses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather information for projects.
- Translate marketing concepts into actionable plans with clear timelines and resource requirements.
- Support additional projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail for event logistics, expenses, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions and collaborate across different partner groups.
- Interest in trade marketing, sales enablement, or brand marketing.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
