About the role#
Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking a full-time EHS Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This on-site role is located in Ripon, Wisconsin. You will work with the Environmental, Health, and Safety department to support workplace safety and environmental initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Optimize the learning management system and streamline training processes.
- Conduct confined space hazard analyses, including documentation and permitting.
- Perform ergonomic evaluations of workstations and tasks to provide improvement recommendations.
- Complete risk assessments and hazard analyses across all manufacturing sites.
- Support preparations for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certifications through gap assessments, document control, KPI tracking, and internal audit assistance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in safety, Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications and software.
- Familiarity with learning management systems or e-learning authoring tools like Articulate is a plus.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, use manual dexterity, and lift minimally as required.
