About the role#
Allegion is looking for a Summer Intern to join the ResPro Channel Marketing team in Carmel, Indiana. This role provides hands-on experience by supporting marketing programs, collateral development, and vendor coordination. You will work alongside channel marketing managers, sales teams, and product management to engage with our builder, dealer, and wholesale partners.
What you'll do#
- Create and fulfill marketing collateral for builders, dealers, and wholesalers.
- Support daily activities for channel programs like merchandising displays and rewards portals.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure stock levels for point-of-sale materials.
- Update marketing resource portals and manage form submissions.
- Develop planograms, in-store displays, and other merchandising tools.
- Prepare presentations, sales training materials, and price book updates.
- Administer approval processes for business development funds and incentive programs.
- Handle invoice and purchase order administration.
- Use Power BI or Excel to pull data and prepare reports on program performance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product launches and campaigns.
- Improve internal workflows to increase team efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in channel, B2B, or consumer goods marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfort learning CRM tools, marketing portals, and analytics platforms.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
- Previous internship or project experience in marketing or merchandising is a plus.
