About the role#
The Business Process Improvement Intern role is a short-term opportunity for students interested in a career in Business Operations and Process Improvement. You will learn about Allegion business operations, data and analytics, and work closely with company leaders while contributing to customer-facing process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Use MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) data to drive improvements.
- Drive structured problem solving to create sustainable improvements for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, technical support, order management, and sales.
- Collect, analyze, and manipulate data from business systems using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on interaction quality, responsiveness, delivery, and engagement.
- Assist with the Business Operations Excellence Roadmap and the rollout of MDI, Leader Standard Work, and technology integration.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business, management, technology, or engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting market research and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work as a team player and cooperate with colleagues.
