About the role#
As an IT Co-op Student, you will join the infrastructure security team at our Verdun office. You will work under the supervision of the Infrastructure Security Manager to support projects related to network security, infrastructure architecture, and identity management. This role offers an opportunity to learn how enterprise environments are designed, secured, and supported while contributing to real-world business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the documentation of infrastructure and network security solutions.
- Support projects related to infrastructure security and architecture.
- Create and update network diagrams, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Participate in firewall reviews and activities to improve network security.
- Perform connectivity testing and validate security requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve basic network or security issues.
- Learn about corporate security standards, controls, and infrastructure design practices.
- Support identity and access management initiatives and familiarize yourself with tools like CyberArk.
- Research technologies and share findings with the team.
- Work with colleagues across infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic student-level understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- Interest in technology, infrastructure, and security with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow guidance, document work, and ask questions when support is needed.
- Availability of at least 24 hours per week from October to December 2026.
- Preferred: Experience or coursework in network security, firewall technologies, IAM, Active Directory, PAM, CyberArk, cloud security, or scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
