About the role#
As a Full Stack Web Software Engineer Intern on the User Interface team, you will contribute to the development of real-time trading applications. You will work alongside traders, quants, and other engineers to build tools that allow our market makers to interact with financial markets. This 10-week program emphasizes project ownership, culminating in a final presentation of your work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Implement robust unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve user experience and development efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and shadow the application support process.
- Take full ownership of an individual project throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent technical field.
- Expected graduation date by August 2028.
- A major GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Proficiency in web programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with Linux, command-line shells, unit testing frameworks, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on the first day of employment.
