About the role#
This summer internship is based in Herndon, Virginia, within the Tooling and Repair Services Americas team. You will support the management of customer orders, inquiries, and the lifecycle of Airbus proprietary tools and parts. This is a full-time, on-site position running from May 17 to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with sale, lease, repair, and return orders for Airbus and vendor tools.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and repair shops.
- Support the tool packages process and work with internal teams.
- Collect and analyze data on lessons learned and corrective actions for lease, sale, or repair opportunities.
- Help with digitalization efforts across the team.
- Support the Process and Performance Manager in transposing internal work instructions into published documents.
- Evaluate and implement new performance analytics dashboards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Logistics, Communications, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science.
- Ability to work on-site in Herndon, VA for the full duration of the internship.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Skills in Microsoft or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance or airline operations.
- Ability to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
