About the role#
This internship is based within the Data and Analytics Plateau team at the Airbus Mobile Manufacturing site. You will support digital transformation initiatives by connecting technical teams with shop-floor operations. This role focuses on project governance, data visualization, and the human side of digital system adoption.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and report on project health, risks, and milestones.
- Act as a bridge between technical data scientists or engineers and shop-floor end-users.
- Drive user adoption for newly launched digital systems and workspace tools.
- Map data flows for specific production processes.
- Create dashboards to share key insights with production teams.
- Perform exploratory analysis on structured operational data.
- Clean data sets to prepare them for future machine learning models.
- Manage ad-hoc requests from key stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, C++, or Google Apps Script.
- Comfort with general IT tools, digital system development basics, and workspace platforms.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
