About the role#
Ahern is hiring an Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. You will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working on real projects and receiving mentorship from our team.
What you'll do#
You will manage customer database information, including updating contacts, notes, and billing details. Your daily work involves responding to customer emails and handling data entry or cleanup projects. You will also upload reports to compliance engines and submit invoices to third-party portals. Additionally, you will audit work orders to create and deliver accurate invoices to customers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Strong computer skills
- Self-motivated and career-driven mindset
