About the role#
This is a part-time student warehouse position based in Etobicoke, Ontario. You will work 24 hours per week with a schedule arranged around your school commitments. The role involves working in a temperature-controlled environment, and the company provides necessary personal protective equipment and refrigerated gear. Training for all job tasks is provided.
What you'll do#
- Operate warehouse machinery including ride-along walkies, reach trucks, and counterbalance equipment.
- Handle warehouse functions such as picking, receiving, loading, and replenishment.
- Lift and move goods weighing between 40 and 50 pounds.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any losses.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of experience operating forklifts, specifically walkie and reach trucks.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
- Experience in the food industry is considered an asset.
