About the role#
Agropur is hiring a Student Shipper for a part-time role in Etobicoke. This position offers 24 hours of work per week with a schedule arranged around your classes. You will work in a temperature-controlled environment, and we provide all necessary personal protective equipment and refrigerated gear. Paid training is provided for all job tasks.
What you'll do#
- Operate warehouse machinery, including ride-along walkie, reach truck, and counterbalance equipment.
- Perform daily warehouse tasks such as picking, receiving, loading, and replenishment.
- Handle goods weighing between 40 and 50 pounds.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any losses.
What you'll need#
- One year of experience operating a forklift, specifically walkie and reach trucks.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Availability to work morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts.
- Enrollment in school, with the ability to work full-time until September.

- Compensation: $24.43 per hour, plus shift premiums of $0.75 for afternoon or $0.85 for night shifts.
