About the role#
As an Operations Intern at Agropur, you will work directly with Plant Leadership and Operations teams. You will support cheese and whey manufacturing processes while improving operational performance. This is a full-time, paid internship that provides hands-on experience in a dairy manufacturing environment. You will receive relocation assistance where applicable.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to plant operations including milk receiving, cheese production, drying, packaging, and shipping.
- Support projects that focus on productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of your process improvements.
- Partner with Operations employees and leaders to learn various roles throughout the plant.
- Present your project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree program in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
- An interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

- This is an on-site role with a rolling term.
- Positions are available in Little Chute, WI; Weyauwega, WI; Le Sueur, MN; and Lake Norden, SD.
