About the role#
Aecon is hiring a Commissioning Coordinator Co-op to join the Site Establishment team for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. You will report to the Testing and Turnover Manager and assist with the management of commissioning preparation for the nuclear facility construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the management of commissioning preparation and write procedures.
- Manage care and preservation activities for components.
- Interact with construction teams to prepare for future flushing and cleaning activities.
- Assist in the implementation of digital tools and help estimate project budgets.
- Participate in meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Provide administrative support to project team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A valid G license and access to a car.
- Experience with Aconex, Bluebeam, and Excel is an asset.
- The ability to read blueprints is an asset.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Oshawa, Ontario.
- The position is full-time with a rolling term.
- Compensation is $23 to $28 per hour.
