About the role#
This internship provides exposure to Purchasing and Supply Chain operations. You will work alongside professionals to develop technical and business skills while gaining experience in organization and teamwork. This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship based on-site in Plymouth, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Prepare quote packages and schedules that are organized and easy to review.
- Conduct supply chain analyses.
- Use various software tools within the Purchasing and Supply Chain department.
- Pull and analyze data.
- Perform basic research on the supply base.
- Identify issues for review and update projects based on feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program with an emphasis in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- An interest in learning Purchasing and Supply Chain skills in a corporate setting.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with strong time management.
- Understanding of basic business concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a positive attitude.
