About the role#
As an Accounting Intern at Acres, you will gain hands-on experience working directly with the Accounting team. This role focuses on real-world applications of corporate accounting, requiring cross-functional collaboration and a strong interest in finance and technology.
What you'll do#
- Classify daily Rippling Spend transactions.
- Manage the accounts payable process.
- Manage Stripe daily journal entries.
- Assist with the monthly close reporting process.
- Gain practical knowledge of GAAP principles.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 2 years of an Accounting degree.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, or Google G Suite.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a strong eagerness to learn the software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment where priorities shift quickly.

- Status: Paid internship, part-time (10-25 hours per week).
