About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will collaborate with the Accounting team to gain hands-on experience through real-world applications of corporate accounting. You will work cross-functionally to gather financial information and support the department in a high-growth environment.
What you'll do#
- Classify daily Rippling Spend transactions.
- Manage the accounts payable process.
- Manage Stripe daily journal entries.
- Assist with the monthly close reporting process.
- Gather financial information and advise managers on spending.
- Gain practical knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Offer and receive consistent feedback.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of an Accounting degree.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite or Google G Suite.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or an eagerness to learn the software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an environment where priorities shift quickly.
