About the role#
Acres is seeking a part-time Data Intern to join the data science team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This role focuses on researching data sources and managing geospatial information to support the development of land analytics tools. The position requires a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Map property boundaries and specific property attributes.
- Verify the accuracy of data to ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Support the data team with research efforts.
- Assist the Data Science team with data entry tasks.
- Plan and organize data management tasks.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor, or master degree program, preferably in Data Science, Agriculture, or Business Administration.
- Strong attention to detail and a quick learning ability.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
- Curiosity regarding land and agricultural transactions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Status: Part-time, paid internship.
- Note: Candidates must be currently located in Northwest Arkansas, as relocation is not supported. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
