About the role#
We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This role provides hands-on experience in real estate and development accounting. You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn about financial reporting and daily business operations while developing practical skills in the commercial real estate sector.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial reporting and accounting activities across various business functions.
- Support day-to-day accounting operations and administrative tasks.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Help with account reconciliations and data analysis.
- Support month-end closing activities and periodic accounting processes.
- Collaborate with the team on special projects and operational initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in accounting, finance, real estate, or development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
