About the role#
This is a six-month, paid Co-Op program within the Global Packaging organization. You will work on projects involving various packaging formats and materials, contributing to assignments that impact the business and patients. The role involves participation in developmental and networking activities.
What you'll do#
- Manage packaging development and testing for new projects.
- Develop test protocols and oversee test execution.
- Identify and select materials while managing specifications.
- Perform data mining to identify standardization opportunities.
- Research and implement sustainability and packaging improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and conduct independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plant environments.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Packaging, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Must be returning to university the semester following the Co-Op.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability in teamwork, adaptability, and initiative.

- Location: North Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: January 2027 to June 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site at the North Chicago campus (minimum three days per week).
- Employment: Full-time.
