About the role#
This is a paid, six-month co-op program running from January through June 2027. You will work within the Global Packaging organization on projects that impact business operations and patients. The role involves laboratory and manufacturing plant work, including coordinating and performing both independent and team experiments.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test packaging for new projects.
- Create test protocols and oversee test execution.
- Identify and select materials while defining specifications.
- Mine data to identify opportunities for standardization.
- Explore sustainability and packaging improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Packaging, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Requirement to return to university the semester following the co-op.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, project management, and teamwork.
Location & details#
- This position is based in North Chicago, Illinois.
- The role is on-site, requiring attendance at the North Chicago campus at least three days per week.
- This is a full-time position.
