About the role#
As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will support, design, and deliver technical solutions end to end. You will work with business and IT teams to keep platforms running and evolving throughout this 11-week summer program.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents to ensure platform stability.
- Partner with business and IT teams to deliver system enhancements and integrations.
- Support improvements in platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Track project milestones, coordinate across teams, and help ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation, support testing and deployment, and follow IT governance requirements.
- Assess risk and support cybersecurity and data protection efforts alongside business, vendor, and technical teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Enrollment in university for the semester following your internship and a graduation date within one year of the internship completion.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
- Experience with low-code platforms like Pega or OutSystems.
- Working knowledge of architecture and how technical structures fit together.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, WebServices, and Dell Boomi.
- Experience configuring or troubleshooting platforms such as ServiceNow, UKG Pro WFM, or Workday.
- Previous internship or related professional experience.
- Strong analytical skills, technical insight, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- The primary location is North Chicago, Illinois.
