About the role#
We are looking for a Co-op Student to join our In Vitro Pharmacology team. You will support experimental tasks related to therapeutics research and help design and execute complex immunological assays. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vancouver.
What you'll do#
- Perform mammalian tissue culture activities using aseptic techniques.
- Manage cell lines by expanding, freezing, and updating relevant databases.
- Assist in interrogating novel biology using flow cytometry, high content imaging, and MSD techniques.
- Run functional immunological assays, including cell binding, reporter gene assays, ADCC, TDCC, and ADCP.
- Analyze experimental data, prepare presentation slides, and share your results with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, or a related field.
- Availability for a co-op term of at least 8 months.
- A basic working knowledge of antibody structure and function.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Compensation: $21.00 CAD per hour.
