About the role#
The Corporate Tax Intern supports the Domestic Tax Manager and other members of the tax department. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work 40 hours per week and assist with federal, state, and indirect tax filings while gaining exposure to global tax operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare sales and use tax returns and other indirect tax filings.
- Assist with the preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns.
- Research specific tax matters as they arise.
- Validate tax exemption certificates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably as a Junior or Senior.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Attention to detail.
- Prior office experience is a plus.
